If you are a parent, you may be able to relate to this chart a friend emailed to me.  I've always been a parent who thinks dramatically.  I think I inherited the trait from my mother.  I went to college a short 35 miles from my home in the flatlands of Florida.  If I was later on a visit home than my mother thought I should be, she was sick with worry that the car had fallen off a cliff.  I don't think there is a cliff in all of Florida.  The route home crossed a lot of marsh.
